Your Options For Materials

Decking: The Foundation of Your Outdoor Space

Your pool deck adds the most color and personality to your space. You'll choose from several materials:

Brick Pavers – Most affordable and very slip-resistant. They get hot in the summer and need sealing to protect from fading, water, and dirt.
Artistic Pavers – Come in Shellock, Granitelock, and Eurolock styles. These are dense, don’t require sealing, stay cooler if you pick a light color, and have a modern, slim profile.
Natural Stone – Includes Travertine, Marble, and Limestone. We only use Premium Select Grade, which is the best quality available. Travertine doesn't need sealing. Marble and Limestone do, right after install and every few years.
Porcelain Pavers – Give your deck the look of an indoor floor. There are many modern color options, but installation is more expensive and they can crack or heat up more easily.

Water Color: Picking the Interior Finish

This step affects both how your pool looks and how long it lasts:

Quartz finish lasts about 15 years
Pebble finish lasts about 25 years

A white plaster base will give your water a light blue look. If you want a deeper or different tone, we offer a wide range of colors through Stonescapes and PebbleTec.

Tile: Highlighting the Waterline

The tile around the top edge of your pool adds both style and protection. We use only high-quality glass and porcelain tiles that are rated for pools. All tiles are installed using Sub-aquatic SGM grout.

This grout is specially made for underwater use. It resists cracking, helps prevent mold and staining, and holds up longer than standard grout. Even our standard tile package includes great-looking glass options.

Depending on your pool features, you'll also pick out:

Deco drain size and color
Outdoor kitchen appliances
Ledger stone panels for water features or kitchens
Granite countertops
